Service Design Network Engineer

Overview:

** Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph required. **

Rampart Technologies currently has an opening for a Service Design Network Engineer responsible for designing cutting-edge network services side by side with our partners. This position requires the building of automated networking flows, and driving decisions around the next generation of networking.

Job Location:

Aurora, Colorado

Responsibilities:

• Discovering and capturing requirements needed by mission partners and providing a solution that fits customer needs and redundancy requirements
• Completing bandwidth studies to ensure that customers have the appropriate amount of bandwidth to provide customers with a high-performance experience.
• Creating engineering documents and drawings, placing artifacts in support of all processes, and recording them into records processes.
• Assist the program with developing Technical Implementation Specifications for integrated technical solutions
• Test and certify all developed solutions in the network integration lab prior to fielding to customer sites.
• Onboard and create orchestration flows for new equipment and ensure proper onboarding of new equipment.

Technical Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years of experience which can be a combination of work history and education.
• Active TS/SCI and Security + Certification
• Knowledge of Interior routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS
• Understanding of logical networking concepts
• Knowledge of Segment routing and the concepts surrounding segment routing
• Knowledge of Orchestration platforms for networking, and creating infrastructure services around code.
