Battlespace Awareness System Engineer (BASE) Team Lead
Overview:
** Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance required. **
As a Battlespace Awareness System Engineer (BASE) Team Lead at Rampart Technologies Corporation, you will be leading a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The BASE Team provides operational, system, and analytical support to DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) customers, as well as system maintenance and future system design and development input. You will be supporting military operations analysts, the customer leadership team, and your team members. Flexibility and an exceptional work ethic are required to support these responsibilities

Aurora, Colorado
Responsibilities:
- Provide Operational Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Subject Matter Expert (SME) support
- System troubleshooting and Level 0/I System Administration/maintenance
- 24/7 near real-time operational and development support, to include pre / post event product generation
- Operational training and documentation support
- Perform operational testing for all capabilities deployed to the operational architecture environment
- Hardware and software integration support for current/new applications and tools that have been generated in a lab environment and other deployment services
- Develop and execute processes for transitioning applications and open framework modifications into operations in accordance with Secure Development Life Cycle plan and system configuration requirements
- Develop system documentation to include training and test plans
- Timecard verification and approval
- Mid-point connection between staff and leadership, addressing concerns and improvements both ways
- Recruiting and hiring new team members
- Encourage and contribute to cross team efforts
- Coordinate team travel to collaborative efforts, most often in Boulder
- Management of team personnel and schedules
Technical Requirements:
- 5 years of relevant OPIR experience
- Familiarity with Linux/Red Hat command functionality
- Comfortable interacting with and engaging customers in technical discussions, including supporting meetings, developing technical briefs, discussing system health, future system development, and communicating problems and finding solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field is preferred. (Additional 5 years of related experience may substitute a degree, or a combination will be considered.)

“In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $90,000 to $180,000; however, Rampart Technologies Corporation considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.”
